It is a mind-blowing honor to be part of this major group show celebrating the 70s and 80s art scene in Delaware. My black & white photo-cartoons will be featured, along with a catalog essay about that era’s photo hijinks. In the Museum Store, photos in bubbles will be dispensed from the original (now vintage!) Photo Vending Machine. On Thursday, July 16 at 4:30 pm, join me for apersonable tour of the show, to visit not just the art – but to inhabit the thoughts, dreams, frustrations, and innocent creepiness of Life in an Analog Fog.
Stay for a snack and a festive mingle in the Museum Cafe.
Then join me for the PHOTOGRAPHY PANEL that same evening at 6:30.On Thursday, July 23 at 6:30 pm, come to The Wilmington Film Festival hosted by Geo Stewart, where I will reveal how to make a film with NO clue about how to do so, during my introduction to PULSE OF DESIRE, a surrealistic venture into the mind of a woman falling in love. This 1988 Academy Awards semi-finalist for Best Experimental Short was made from 7000 slides, optically-transferred to film to create this innovative mistake, that was swiftly embraced as intentional.
